About Music Camp Finder

A hand-kept list of music camps, workshops and retreats, for players who want to know what is out there and when it runs.

What is listed

Recurring programs where you go somewhere to learn and play music: fantasy camps with famous players, week-long workshops, weekend retreats, pre-college intensives and kids rock camps. Every instrument, songwriting included, in the US and abroad. One-off events are left out.

Where the dates come from

From each organizer's own website wherever possible. When a date comes from somewhere else, such as a press release or a faculty member's site, the camp page says so next to it. Organizers often overwrite last year's page, so past years are collected when we can still find them. Camps change dates, venues and lineups. Always confirm with the organizer before you book or travel.

What is not here

No prices. Camp prices change often, vary by package, and we would rather show nothing than show something wrong. No camp pays to be listed, and nothing here is an ad.

Scholarships

When an organizer says it offers scholarships or financial aid, the camp page says so and links to how to apply. Not stated means we did not find it, not that there is none.

Who it is for

Adult fantasy camps are star-led, usually all-inclusive, and built around time with the artists. Workshops and intensives put teaching first and run from teens to adults. Kids and teens covers camps built for young players.

Missing something?

If we are missing a camp, have a date wrong, or list one that has stopped running, tell us. Every submission is read by a person.
